In Russian folklore, the Russian Blue has long since been considered as a symbol of good luck, and the premier cat choice for many Russian Czars of legend. 2. I Like Things the Way They Are
The Russian Blue is not your typical cat, and they don’t adapt well to change. Sticking to the routine that they so desperately crave, these kitties like everything the same down to a science. Fed at the same time, sleep at the same time, even play at the same time. With their routines down to a T, don’t be surprised if one of these cats is used to eating early and refuses to let you sleep in. Obviously with this trait of the breed, they don’t do the best with moving and are strictly intended as a one-owner cat.

3. Don’t Talk To Strangers
This breed is super friendly with people they interact with in the home on an every day basis, but don’t be surprised if your Russian Blue doesn’t respond well to visitors. If you are the type of person that has a lot of foot traffic in and out of your home from guests, then this is not the ideal breed for you. The Russian Blue is known for being shy with people they are unfamiliar with and do best in a home that’s not a party zone for outside foot traffic. The Russian Blue shows its affection for those they are familiar with, and prove how devotedly loyal they are with their owners, even following them from room to room.
