Cats bite for a variety of reasons but rarely do our cats bite with true malice. Most of the time, bites born of annoyance sting, but these toothy attacks are merely a fraction of their true power. You kitty darling is just telling you to back off, he’s not really trying to hurt you.
And then, there are the accidental nips when our fingers get too close during play or feeding. Those can hurt, but those bites are purely accidental as your little beast was after a different target, either in the shape of a toy or a tasty food morsel.
