A cat named Carl came to his foster home and had to be quarantined for fifteen days. He spent the time inside a comfy bedroom with his new foster mom, Taryn, looking after him. While on “lockdown,” another family member checked on him constantly. In fact, Carl’s new protector was already in love with him even though they hadn’t officially met yet.

This special admirer is no other than Taryn’s beloved dog Robby. Robby spent every waking second with his nose pressed against the door waiting for his new buddy to come out. Fifteen days felt like a lifetime! Finally, when it was time to let Carl out, Robby couldn’t have been happier. And Carl was pretty excited himself! He chased Robby downstairs and as soon as they entered the kitchen, Robby began to groom the kitty for ten minutes straight!

The sweet cat has helped Robby tremendously! Robby’s mom describes him as nervous and anxious. This affected Robby socially, and he was unable to make friends with other dogs. Carl put the pup at ease. Their friendship continued to blossom, and it’s a beautiful sight to see. They especially like to go on walks with one another. As soon as Taryn says it’s time to go for a walk, the duo runs down the stairs at lightning speed as if they are about to go on an exotic adventure around the globe. We love this pair and you will too! Check them out in the video below!
