It’s hard not to love a cat who dons a furry heart-shaped mark on her chest.
But for a long time, when people would visit the cats at the Converse Animal Shelter (CASI) in Converse, Texas, “big-hearted” Muffy would duck in her cage. Because the kitty was so shy, she was overlooked by adopters for most of her two-year life.

But last week, she found her soulmate.
When Muffy’s forever mom walked into the shelter, it was love at first sight!

“[Muffy] was shy for sure, [but] with her adoptive mommy, she showed affection and trust immediately,” January Dugan, an animal control officer and temporary CASI volunteer, told iHeartCats.
We’re thinking that the sweet and timid Muffy wanted to be careful who she opened her heart up to. It looks like she made the perfect choice!
