But cat rescues like Cats in the Cradle in Georgia are trying to change that by finding homes for deserving seniors like Curley. They couldn’t do it without cat lovers like you, though.

Curley Says Thank You

At twelve years old, Curley the cat was “barely surviving” after living rough and hungry at an apartment complex in Fulton County. She was painfully thin upon arrival at the shelter, but these cat lovers had stacks of snacks on hand to fatten this sweet senior up to a healthy weight. And she was finally spayed. Though Curley was past her kitten-rearing days, having the spay surgery significantly reduced her risks of developing cancer. This gives Curley an even better shot at many happy years to come.

Because the GOODS Program helped with the food bills, Cats in the Cradle could afford to have Curley spayed.

“Thanks to the GOODS program, Cats in the Cradle was able to pay for more veterinary care through PetVet, including Curley’s spay surgery and wellness exam,” explained Cats in the Cradle.
