Believe it or not, cats can spend up to 50% of their entire day just grooming. The other 50% being taken up by playing, sleeping and relieving themselves. I mean, if you think about it cats don’t need to be bathed as often as dogs because they spend all of that time detailing and cleaning themselves! Kittens start grooming themselves in their fourth week and in their fifth week, they learn how to groom their mother and other litter mates. As they grow and become adults living among other kitty family members, they continuously groom each other to strengthen bonds.
