There’s something truly heartwarming about watching a pet light up when they see someone they miss, and Sadie the dog is a perfect example of that.

Sadie is a mix between a husky and a German shepherd, and she lives in Canada with her owner, Kayla McTeer. Up until recently, Sadie and Kayla spent a lot of time with Kayla’s close friend Caitlin Banks and her dog Rollo, a rottweiler-shepherd mix. However, Caitlin had to relocate for a new job, leaving both the humans and their dogs separated.

Even though Caitlin moved away, the two friends came up with a special way to keep the pups connected. Every Thursday, they hold video calls between Sadie and Rollo, and the dogs’ reactions are absolutely precious!

In a clip shared on social media, Sadie’s face lights up when she spots Rollo on the screen. She then tips her head back and lets out a long, soulful howl. According to Kayla, Sadie doesn’t usually howl like that—she only does it during their video chats. The emotional response from Sadie caught everyone by surprise, including Kayla.

Sadly, this seems to have been a disturbing pattern that must be addressed. To protect future animals and provide him with the support he needs, he must be banned from ever owning animals again and undergo mandatory counseling.

The video of the two dogs’ reunion was so touching that it quickly went viral online, with people all over the world enjoying this sweet moment. You can check out the video below and don’t forget to spread the joy by sharing it!
