Toys are a big part of creating a happy and healthy cat. But when food and medical care take the lion’s share of cash, funds can run short for these important enrichment tools. At Feral Kitty Trappers TNR and Rescue, kittens Elvis, Priscilla, Stinka, and Starlord are lucky littles who have plenty of fun toys to play with thanks to you, cat lover!
When you shop with iHeartCats, every single purchase funds donations for felines in need. Whether you purchase a cute cat shirt for yourself or supplements for your cat, that cart full of goodies gives compassion. Through our partnership with Greater Good Charities, we ensure shelter cats receive food and other necessities while waiting for their forever home. To date, the GOODS Program has delivered over 578 million meals to shelters and rescues nationwide. That’s more than 6,000 truckloads delivered to hungry animals!
Kitties Need Toys, Too!
But it’s not just about the food, the GOODS Program also ensures rescues and shelters receive other important necessities, toys included. And when kittens have toys to play with and good food to eat while in rescue and foster care, they’re learning how to be happy and loving cats for their forever home.
Amy from Kitty Trappers explained that the toy selection was limited for Elvis, Priscilla, Stinka, and Starlord, with “minimal toys or activities to keep 4 busy kittens engaged.”
But with the toys rolling in from GOODS, these sweet fosters kittens know a life of “non stop playing and fun.”
“Not only are the toys a life saver for a foster mom with limited time for one on one playtime, but they are a lifesaver for my active foster kittens who have so much energy to burn,” Amy shared. “They are happy, healthy, engaging in play with toys and now with me as well. Thank you so very much for your generous and much needed and appreciated goods.”
And we want to thank you for your part in giving these little ones a good time in life. Our mission to save cats couldn’t happen without you. Keep shopping to keep saving lives!
