PJay, an avid runner, was training for a marathon when he stumbled upon a tiny kitten walking aimlessly on the sidewalk. The kitty called out to him as if she understood this was her chance to find help. The compassionate man scooped her up and told her it was going to be okay. The kitten, later named Hoka, meowed her tiny head off, relieved she had finally met someone who cared enough to pick her up and carry her to safety. PJay couldn’t find anything to wrap her up in to warm her up, so he chose a shopping bag.
PJay’s next step was to bring Hoka home. As soon as they arrived, they were greeted by his cat Crunchy. The Orange Tabby brushed up against PJay’s leg, signifying his happiness to see them both. PJay then put Hoka in a laundry basket since he didn’t have an extra cat carrier. Soon, it was time for a bath. Bath time was a success, and the kitty received her first toy to celebrate her new life.
Hoka explored her new digs and was delighted. She took a liking to PJay’s Hoka sneakers and brushed against them, thus inspiring her new dad to name her after the shoe. PJay then let the two cats officially meet. Their connection was instant! Hoka looked up to Crunchy and began mimicking everything her older brother did. The pair are inseparable and can often be found snuggling, playing, and exploring together.
The story continues in the video below and is absolutely purr-fect. Just wait until you see the two cats together. It’s utterly adorable! Thank you, PJay, for saving Hoka and being such a good dad to both kitties.
