It was a warm and sunny day when someone spotted this lonely and scared tabby on the street. The cat was in distress and looking to hide, running toward a loading dock to conceal herself from the outside world. Thankfully people saw her enter, and only a few moments later, this pregnant cat gave birth to six cute kittens.

The onlookers made a call to a local animal rescue to save this cat and her kittens, not only because they needed a proper home, but also because the loading dock would have crushed them upon opening. Cats at the Studios Rescue of Burbank, California were there to answer the call for this poor mama and her babies desperately in need. Fortunately the mother cat cooperated with the rescue team and was brought to safety, along with the kittens. Watch and see their journey:

We know it’s sad that three of the kittens did not survive, but the other 3 are healthy and strong thanks to this wonderful cat rescue team. The world is a better place for the feline kind thanks to these special people!
