Talk about an embarrassment – Police Sergeant Dave Kempas of Gladstone, Oregon has a criminal for a family member.
Tigger, AKA-Kleptokitty, taking a break from doing nothing last night. ….

Tigger the “Kelptokitty” has been stealing items from around the neighborhood and leaving them on his owner’s driveway and back porch for the past four years.
He’s even stolen a bag of marijuana!
Sgt. Kempas jokingly told his cat, “You can’t do that, I’m a cop!”
At first, Sgt. Kempas couldn’t figure out where all the garbage, clothes, toys -pretty much anything a cat can carry – was coming from. (Even a Fred Meyer name badge!)

So, he put security cameras out and discovered the culprit was his very own cat burglar!

Now, Tigger has a Facebook page, where Sgt. Kempas keeps track of what the cat drags in. (come on, you knew we were going to say it at some point!)
What does he do with all that stuff? He cleans it up and donates it to charity. He says he doesn’t deduct it on his taxes, since he didn’t get it “honestly” in the first place.

What a cat! Most of us have had our kitties leave us presents, usually animals, on our porch. Has your cat every “stolen” something unusual and brought it back to your backyard? Tell us in the comments.
