Alice is a 5-year-old Persian mix whose previous owner was unable to keep her for unknown reasons. Luckily, her adoptive mom Yara was more than ecstatic to give her a loving home.

Yes, you read that correctly, somebody actually gave this stunningly beautiful cat up for adoption!

Yara began documenting Alice’s day-to-day antics on Instagram and quickly garnered more than 16,000 followers.

A quick scroll through her sometimes silly, sometimes serious, and always stunning photos, and it’s easy to see why Alice is so popular!

Yara told Bored Panda that Alice “has a big attitude and loves attention but only on her terms!”

She tolerates other cats as long as she is allowed to be the boss.

She also loves to meet new people, but “doesn’t like to be stroked, carried or touched unless she approaches first.” What a diva!

In true “diva” fashion, Alice has a wardrobe any feline gal would envy. She has a crystal-encrusted collar as well as a wide array of bow ties and bandannas – but they may as well be invisible against the backdrop of her flowing marbled coat.

Alice doesn’t just look glamorous, she also lives the glamorous jet-setter lifestyle. She is a world-traveler and has lived in Saudi Arabia, Germany, England and the Netherlands.

Queen Alice is very finicky with her food. Yara says it took forever to find a diet that was both healthy and up to The Diva’s discerning culinary standards.

Not surprisingly, she finds cat toys to be uncivilized.

Just kidding! She actually loves to play!

Being the composed feline that she is, Alice ‘just says no’ to catnip.

It seems that Alice and Yara are a match made in feline heaven. Yara gets the benefit of an upscale travel buddy, and Alice gets an adoring owner who meets her exacting standards!
