Today, we offer more proof that cats really do like dogs.
In fact, cats love their dog siblings!
And one home’s critter cam caught such evidence more than once. Since Kelvin the cat’s parents learned how much he cares about the dogs, the ginger tabby hasn’t lived down his love for dog brother Joule.
When no one is looking, Kelvin the cat loves to sneak into his canine brother’s crate for a snuggle fest. In two different clips, shot on different days, Joule the dog doesn’t even stir when Kelvin pads into the crate and starts prancing about while getting settled. He’s just happy his cat bro is there to keep him warm and safe.

Cats and Dogs Make Great Family
While Kelvin and Joule often hang out on the couch together, their parents never knew this cuteness was going on. The Instagram clips are a throwback to the first discovery of the crate cuddles and according to their parents, the video evidence started around “a year and a half” ago.
“I think they probably were doing it longer and we didn’t realise.”

Kelvin and Joule’s humans also said the pair does this everyday, unless its “too warm” of a summer day.
If the humans are home, everybody piles on the couch together! “When we are home, they usually want to snuggle with us. I’ll often be sitting on the couch with both a dog and a cat on my lap.”

A Feed Full of Love
These two video instances aren’t the only proof that Joule loves his canine siblings.
Chronicled on Instagram, Kelvin’s cuddles with Joule and Tesla prove the cat’s deep smarts too. He knows, whether in crates or on the furniture, curling up with dogs offers extra warmth and security for cat naps. And a nice perch as well. Is there even a dog under all the cat?

A scroll through the photos reveals that Kelvin pretty much rules the roost with the assistance of cat brother, Nerien. A tabby tiger and a house panther, plus two dogs! Now that’s a lot of cuddly love!
