This home in Goleta, California was professionally designed to maximize the amount of space that was available for the 18 resident cats to climb, hide, play, and nap.

This Japanese cat-wonderland was built with 16 lucky felines in mind. The cats have free reign of the home, which is filled with tunnels, shelves, window perches, and catwalks.

This family renovated their home to include tunnels, hideouts, and floor-to-ceiling scratching posts to create the ultimate cat oasis. Their work didn’t stop there. Over the years they have also cat-ified shelters and helped other cat lovers design similar spaces.
