This Cat Can’t Find The Squirrel And It’s Hilarious!

A kitty’s natural hunting instinct is strong, and according to Jackson Galaxy the famous cat behaviorist from “My Cat From Hell,” that need to hunt requires an outlet to be fulfilled. In fact, many cat behavior issues stem, in part, from not having such an outlet.

We’ve seen many people let their cat’s play on their tablets. There are even games designed for cats that you can download.

But this cat finds a video of a squirrel to be much more interesting.

The only problem, he can’t catch the squirrel! Watch this poor cat try to figure out where the squirrels have gone.

While this video is cute, we feel it’s important to note something that many cat behaviorist talk about when it comes to playing with your cat. In order to not “drive them crazy” they need to be able end the hunt (i.e. catch the item). This is one of the reasons laser pointers are not good for cats – they can’t “catch” the light, grab it, shake it, or kick it! What if the owner had hidden a catnip-stuffed squirrel behind the laptop – can you imagine that cat’s delight?!
