Just because some animals have disabilities or deformities, that doesn’t mean they are broken. Animals can be very resilient, and their will to live will amaze you! You’ll be amazed of the things they’re able to do despite their conditions. Just like the cat in the story below.
Her name is Rey.
Rey was born blind. But her human dad, Alex, chose to adopt her despite that.

Alex also adopted her sister Leia. Alex told LoveMeow, “She was blind at birth, her charts say there was operation to close her eye sockets to prevent the possibility of future infections. I chose to adopt them almost on a whim, my girlfriend at the time sent me their pictures and I didn’t think twice.”

Although Rey was blind, her other senses compensated and she was able to train herself how to move around.

And one thing that surprised her human was her ability to fetch. Alex told LoveMeow, “The first time I realized she could fetch was when I was in bed and she brought a toy to me to play and I threw it and she brought it back. It was surprising and amazing!”
Watch the video below and see this beautiful, blind cat who can fetch as well as any dog!
