In September 2015, the wildfires raged through multiple cities in California. The Valley Fire consumed everything in its path including nearly 600 family homes. As people rushed to evacuate the blaze, amidst the fear and chaos, many pets became lost–for good.
Nancy was one of the evacuees, and lost track of her white and black cat named Muscat (you can imagine he probably got spooked!).
But on March 23rd of this year, something amazing happened. As Nancy was driving by her house, she saw a white cat that looked just like Muscat–because it was! When Nancy got out of the car, the kitty couldn’t wait to reunite with his mama, and ran right up to her.
A client of the Middleton Animal Hospital, the elated cat owner took her beloved pet in for a check-up, where it was determined that he was perfectly healthy! The animal hospital posted this on their Facebook page:

Muscat must’ve been purring nonstop after missing his mama for six months!
